Amman – Jordan

Wadi Araba Minerals (WAM) is glad to announce the commencement of Drilling Campaign No. 1 for 2026 on August 8, 2026, in collaboration with Saudi Golden Compass Company.

The drilling program includes 100–150 diamond drilling core boreholes, with depths ranging between 10 and 70 meters. Directional drilling are being conducted at an angle of 60°, which is the most suitable direction for the stratabound mineralized horizon. The purpose of the drilling program is to establish a Mineral Resource Estimate that complies with the reporting requirements of JORC 2012.

The drilling program will target Sectors 5, 1, 1 “Extension”, 2, and 3 with a planned grid spacing along the strike and dip directions of the mineralized horizon of 50 meters × 50 meters (50 × 50 m).

To date, 15 boreholes have been successfully drilled in Sector 1, with mineralization intercepts ranging between 0.3 and 5.4 meters. The drilling program is expected to continue for approximately three months and may be extended if necessary.

This program covers the exploration obligations outlined in the work plan appended to the Executive Agreement signed with the Jordanian Government and forms an integral part of the Definitive Feasibility Study, which is to be delivered towards the end of the exploration phase.

WAM remains committed to conducting exploration at the Abu Khusheiba Copper Exploration Project in accordance with the best international mining standards.
