Wadi Araba Minerals (WAM) is pleased to report that a high-level European Union (EU) technical delegation, accompanied by technical teams from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), conducted a site visit to the Abu Khusheiba Project on 09 October 2025.
The visit was arranged within the framework of the strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union, reflecting the EU’s boarder strategic objectives to support and evaluate responsibly developed mining and exploration projects. The delegation’s visit highlights the growing interest in Jordan’s exploration activities and assessment of the Company’s technical approach.
Company Representation
The visiting delegation was received by senior management and technical personnel from WAM, including:
• Mr. Hani Al-Asmar, Chief Executive Officer
• Mr. Raed Yaghnam, Board Member
• Mr. Matouq H. Al-Asmar, Chief Technical Manager.
• Members of the Company’s geological and technical teams
The presence of both executive leadership and technical specialists ensured comprehensive engagement and detailed discussions throughout the visit.
Project Overview and Technical Presentations
During the site visit, WAM delivered a detailed overview of the current exploration status of the Abu Khusheiba Project, including:
• Project objectives and exploration strategy
• Regional and local geological setting
• Exploration methodologies applied to date
• Progress achieved across multiple work programs
Technical explanations were provided in the field, allowing the delegation to directly observe geological features and discuss interpretations with the Company’s technical team.
Field Observations
The delegation visited several active and completed exploration sites within the project area. Field discussions focused on:
• Stratiform copper mineralization observed at surface exposures
• Basement-hosted copper-gold mineralization styles, including structural and lithological controls
• The systematic and methodical nature of the exploration programs conducted to date
The EU and MEMR technical representatives expressed strong professional interest in the quality of the geological work, the clarity of geological interpretations, and the disciplined application of exploration techniques in line with international best practices
Forward Outlook
WAM values the constructive technical engagement with the EU and MEMR teams and views the visit as a positive endorsement of the Company’s exploration approach and project management capabilities.
